The “COST-HINT - General Scientific Workshop and Review Meeting” will be held at the Reitoria building of the University of Aveiro, Portugal .

 

The Oporto Airport is the best choice to arrive by plane. From there, it is possible to take a Taxi (about €20) or the E line of Metro do Porto, buying the Andante Z4 Ticket (€ 1.85), to the Campanhã train station. There are train connections from Porto to Aveiro every hour: Urbano (1 h journey - €3.40) or IC / Alfa (30 to 40 min journey - from € 11.70 to € 19.70).

Arriving at Lisbon Airport is the other choice. From there, it is possible to take a Taxi (about €10) or the Red line of Metro de Lisboa, buying the "Viva Viagem" card (€0,50) along with the 1 hour Travel Ticket (€ 1.40), to the Oriente train station. There are train connections from Lisboa to Aveiro every hour: IC / Alfa (2h to 2h30m journey - from € 20.20 to € 37.90).

BY CAR FROM AIRPORTS

It takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour to travel from Porto to Aveiro, using either the A1 or the A29 highways. Travelling from Lisbon will take about 2 hours, using either the A1 highway or, best choice, the A8 and A17 highways.
